When I read the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't evoke feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a unfamiliar concept. Maybe because my time there were not like others, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to reminisce. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't carry the same significance for me as it does for others.
It's not that I haven't appreciated my time at school. It was a time of learning, just not one that resonates in the way many people describe.
